Halleyah Raks was formed in 2006 and is composed of students from her Performance Class. The student troop is designed to assist those students who wish to learn more about the professional world of belly dance. Troop members work on costume, performance skills and experience, choreography skills, and the process involved with running a troop or dance company. The time and money commitment to participating in the student troop is greater than that involved with the yearly class recital. Participation in the student troop is restricted to those students who are taking the performance class and maintain a solid class attendance.
