Tribal Hair and Make-Up Workshop
Held Saturday June 28, 2008 in Conyers at the Dominy School of Performing Arts. Everyone seemed to have a good time. Henna happened - shopping happened and lots of willing volunteers graciously allowed Jennifer and myself to paint their faces and experiment on their hair! My thanks to everyone who attended and to Jennifer Harmon for teaching the amazing Make-up portion of the day! I'd also like to thank the vendors Bella of Copper Lotus Tattoos for doing henna and Stacia of Stacia Beads for bringing her glass bead art to the workshop. |

Tribal Bra and Belt Workshop Held Saturday July 26, 2008 in Conyers at Dominy School of Performing Arts. While we had to cancell the belt portion of the workshop - the bra class was amazing! The participants had fun shopping and desinging their bras and most left the workshop with a partially completed bra! Good luck to everyone on finishing their project - I can't wait to see them all in class or at the next performance!
Thanks to Beledi Boutique and Lisa Wylie for suppling all the wonderful things that were used to complete the projects. Much shopping happened that day! Thanks also to Stacia Schmidt who assisted in teaching the workshop and literally used up her sewing machine attaching rings to bras! It was much appreciated.
